u.ai Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern access to the u.ai service and its AI-powered social-simulation features.
1. Using u.ai
You may use u.ai only in compliance with these terms, Apple's applicable App Store terms, and applicable law. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping access to your account and device reasonably secure.
2. AI-generated simulation content
u.ai is an AI-powered fictional social simulation. Characters, residents, conversations, posts, stories, relationships, images, and other generated material may be fictional, incomplete, inaccurate, unexpected, or inconsistent.
AI-generated output is not professional medical, legal, financial, emergency, or other professional advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for qualified professional services.
3. Your content
You retain your rights in content you create and submit to u.ai. To operate the service, you grant the developer a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and transform that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the functionality you use.
Content is shared with Google Gemini for AI processing only in accordance with the permission and disclosures described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Prohibited use
You must not use u.ai to:
- violate applicable law or the rights of another person;
- submit content you do not have the right to use;
- harass, exploit, threaten, or deliberately harm others;
- create or distribute illegal content;
- bypass authentication, quotas, application-integrity checks, payment controls, abuse protections, or other security systems;
- interfere with, overload, probe, or misuse the service or its APIs.
5. u.ai Plus subscriptions
u.ai may offer weekly and monthly auto-renewable u.ai Plus subscriptions. The current subscription price and billing period are displayed in the App Store purchase interface before purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID. A subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period, subject to Apple's applicable billing rules.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through App Store subscription settings. Purchase restoration is available through the app where supported.
Deleting your u.ai account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Refunds and billing disputes are handled under Apple's applicable policies.
6. Availability and changes
u.ai depends on network services, cloud infrastructure, AI providers, Apple services, and third-party subscription infrastructure. Features may occasionally be unavailable, interrupted, changed, or discontinued.
We may modify features, limits, supported models, subscription benefits, or technical requirements when reasonably necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance, provider changes, or product development.
7. Account suspension and termination
Access may be limited or suspended where reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent abuse or fraud, comply with law, enforce these terms, or protect the service. You may stop using u.ai at any time and may delete your account through Settings.
8. Intellectual property
The u.ai application, service design, software, branding, and original service materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of the u.ai service or software to you.
9. Privacy
Data practices, third-party AI processing, retention, deletion, cloud backups, and consent controls are described in the u.ai Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers and consumer rights
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, u.ai is provided on an "as available" basis and no guarantee is made that AI output will always be accurate, available, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer rights, warranties, remedies, or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited in your country or region.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the service, subscriptions, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
